Hearts are weighing up a move to bring Lawrence Shankland back to Scotland.
The Beerschot star is on the wishlist of summer striking targets for the Scottish Cup Finalists.
Shankland hit 28 goals for Neilson’s side as he won his first Scotland call-up and helped fire United back into the Premiership.
Shankland moved to Belgium last season but his move hasn’t gone to plan as he has been played out of position and now his side have been relegated to the second tier.
Beerschot would be looking to recoup the majority of the fee they paid Dundee United to get the 26-year-old back in August.
